General Event Rules

THIS RACE WILL RUN THE DRAG STRIP BACKWARDS!

Friday TNT and the Race will be from the top end of the track back towards the starting line, ensuring a true no-prep, virgin surface. No times shown, No time slips, no qualifying. All run fields. Multiple Class entries ALLOWED. Jackpot race Friday if time allows for all classes.

1. ALL Cars must pass tech and meet safety requirements specs similar to NHRA rules based on times their cars run. Track Tech will have Final say on all safety! Heartland reserves the right to refuse any driver or car.
2. All drivers must have a current driver’s license AND all participants must sign a waiver prior to testing or competing. ALL cars must go through Tech, with ALL safety gear.
3. Outlaw Big Tire and Small will receive weight sticker in tech.
4. All drivers must be wearing ALL required safety gear entering into the burn out box otherwise racecar and driver will be shut down. NO EXCEPTIONS.
5. Pimp juice burnout only.
6. All Outlaw Class racecars MUST have engine diapers AND or belly pan.
7. Driver and crew ONLY allowed in staging lanes and starting area. NO EXCEPTIONS.
8. Big Tire and Small will be scaled after every round of competition. 2650lbs (with driver)
9. All weight must be securely bolted inside of racecar.
10. NO burnouts anywhere on the property other than drag strip.
11. NO antifreeze in ANY cars!
12. MUST attend drivers meeting to race.
13. Only 1 Free Outlaw class entry per racer.

Outlaw Big Tire (OBT)

1. Door cars ONLY. Must have factory steel roof and rear quarters. Wheelbase can be altered.
2. MUST weight of 2650lbs (with driver)
3. All racecars must have working parachute(s).
4. All racecars must start on their own and from inside. NO Jumps or crank overs from outside.
5. Must have working light in rear of car.

Outlaw Small Tire (OST)

1. Stock appearing door cars only. Factory roof and quarters.
2. Unlimited power adders.
3. Must have working parachute(s).
4. No wheelie bars allowed.
5. All racecars must start on their own and from inside. NO Jumps or crank overs from outside.
6. Must have working light in rear of car.
7. 29 x 10.5 NON W or smaller- 11.1 max tread width.
8. MUST weight 2650lbs (with driver) -all weight bolted in car.

Street Outlaw (SO)

1. NO BACK HALF or CHASSIS cars. Must have stock frame rails and retain factory appearance.
2. Tubular radiator support allowed.
3. Ladder Bar cars allowed, but still must have factory frame rails.
4. No Wheelie bars.
5. Must have factory firewall in original location. Firewall can be notched for clearance.
6. Must have factory appearing interior. Passenger seat and rear delete okay.
7. Must have working headlights and taillights.
8. Must have current tags and insurance.
9. Bolt on suspension parts in factory location. Struts on cars which were originally equipped with. BOLT in front ends allowed in factory location. NO EXCEPTIONS.
10. Unlimited engine size.
11. Tires 275×60 Drag Radials permitted or smaller. ALL tires MUST be DOT approved. (NO Pro Bracket Radials, slicks, 3354R, 315 drag radials or bigger and alike).
12. Must have muffler… Turbo can be muffler.
13. Working parachute recommended.
14. No towing of racecars to staging and from shut down unless the racecar is broke MUST HAVE track officially to okay IF wanting to continue to next round.

TWO NEW STREET HARD TIRE DRIVER STYLE CLASSES JUST ADDED RULES BELOW

Get in where you fit in and race with the Big Boys
100% payback on both classes below- Race Entry 50.00 at 16 car track will add $500 to Purse
Must pass tech, no leaking etc.
Must have Fire Jacket, Helmet and Neck Brace

Modern Muscle (MM)

1. 2004 and up model. Factory EFI cars.
2. Tags, inspection and insurance.
3. All stock interior and appearance. Safety upgrades OK.
4. Hard tires and Factory brakes (min 200 treadwear on tires must have the rating)
5. All racecars must start on their own and from inside. NO Jumps or crank overs from outside.
6. Fiberglass hood ok.
7. Full exhaust.
8. No awd/4wd car.

Pure Street/Hard Tire

1. Normal true hard tire (no size restrictions) 200 treadwear rating limit MUST be listed on tire. No Zeros
2. Tags, inspection and insurance.
3. Street legal cars and trucks.
4. Any power adder or engine.
5. No tire made by Mickey Thompson or Hoosier.
6. No awd/4wd.
