FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
No Prep Nationals sponsored by Central Power Systems & Services
(May 7, 2018) Central Power Systems & Services has been named presenting sponsor of the inaugural No Prep Nationals, September 28-29, 2018 at Heartland Motorsports Park. The race that will run the track backwards starting from the non-prepped top of the shutdown area back toward the scoreboards will now have Central Power Systems & Services as a promotional partner. The popular form of drag racing where no traction compound is applied to the asphalt surface makes it more challenging for skilled racers and more exciting for audiences. Racers from throughout the U.S. will compete for a purse of $117,500 and growing, which is spread out over three racing classes – Outlaw Big Tire, Outlaw Small Tire, and Street Outlaw.
Central Power Systems & Services has supported several no prep types of races in the past and finds it a great way for their company to entertain employees and customers, and create awareness for their business. From generators to engines, electrical products, and transmissions, Central Power Systems & Services assists customers through parts & service, remanufacturing, and rental equipment. The Kansas City area based sponsor has 14 locations throughout Kansas, Oklahoma, Missouri, Nevada, and one facility outside the U.S. in Italy. Participating in the racing promotion with Central Power Systems & Services is their vendor, Liebherr. The Swiss based product manufacturer, Liebherr, makes equipment for the earthmoving, mining, crane, concrete technology, Aerospace, machine tool, automation systems, and domestic appliances and component industries. Race fans will have a chance to see Liebherr equipment in Central Power Systems & Services displays at the upcoming NHRA national event at Heartland Motorsports Park, May 18-20, as well as the inaugural No Prep Nationals presented by Central Power Systems & Services, September 28 -29, 2018.
